I'm a 16 year hair veteran from western Maine.  I first learned the fundamentals of hair in Boston on the reputable Newbury Street.  I then returned to my homestate for 10 years where I was fortunate enough to build steadfast relationships with my clients.

I spent the second half of that 10 years seeking out and traveling to education.  This eventually led to a cross country move to Los Angeles, where I worked at Luxelab Salon in Santa Monica.  There I gained experience as a session stylist, working backstage at LA Fashion Week and had the pleasure of being Lead Hair for several independent fashion shows.  I then had my own studio called Out Hair, which closed at the start of the pandemic.  The shut down led to personal move to Las Vegas, NV (somewhere I never thought I would live).  I easily had the greatest work experience of my career at Square Salon, growing tremendously not only as a hairstylist and educator, but personally as well, and I'm constantly grateful for my time there.

After having my daughter in fall of 2022 I was so excited to return once again to the great State of Maine, this time with a tiny family and a ton of experience. 

 

Over the years I've graciously earned the reputation of being a fearless hair cutter, and love delivering bold haircolor to match.  I get satisfaction out of creating personalized fashion tones for my guests in every color of the rainbow, and can find an application for all levels of color comfort.  On the flipside, I deeply appreciate enhancing natural haircolor with balayage hairpainting, creating sun kissed hand painted highlights and dimensional "brondes".  

Ultimately I believe that beauty standards are for us to set for ourselves.  Helping my guests discover something new about themselves, or to see themselves in a different light is the most rewarding part for me.  Smash the norm, try something different, and be boldly you.
